Here we grow again! From home acquisitions to brand-new leading-edge buildings, MacLeod Cares is pleased to be part of several new development initiatives across the Maritimes over the coming years. Here are some of our latest projects:
Rebuilding Roseway Manor in Shelburne, NS
MacLeod Cares is thrilled to be developing a state-of-the-art licensed long-term care nursing home in Shelburne, Nova Scotia with the rebuilding of Roseway Manor, a place that has cared for generations of our community.
The new location, on King Street (beside the EHS depot), will be home to a modern 2-story facility with 112 single rooms, each with a private bathroom, lots of natural light and a scenic garden/forest view.
Designed with safety and care in mind, the building features self-contained care wings, each with its own dining area, common space, activity schedule and dedicated staff. The home will have a large community room on the main level with access to a spacious terrace and garden space.
The new facility, which will employ a team of 150, is planned to start in 2025 with an expected opening in 2028. Check out the renderings below and pdfs the floor plans here: Level 1 floor plan and Level 2 floor plan.
Past Projects
MAHONE BAY: Our residents and staff have settled in nicely to their brand new home in Mahone Bay. The 92-bed nursing home opened in July 2024.
WOODSTOCK: A brand new memory care unit was added to our Riverside Court location in July 2024.
