Registered Nurse
MacLeod Cares Surf Lodge Nursing Home is a 36-bed long-term care home located in Lockeport, Nova Scotia, overlooking Back Harbour. We are proud to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a close-knit community environment where Residents feel at home.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide clinical leadership and deliver comprehensive, Resident-centered care that supports the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being of those in our community. Working within your full scope of practice and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and a physician, you will assess, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans to ensure Residents receive safe, high-quality nursing care.
In this leadership role, you will guide and mentor frontline care staff, support clinical decision-making, and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or recognized Registered Nursing degree
- Current Registered Nurse license in the applicable province, in good standing
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor and support care staff
- Experience developing and evaluating individualized care plans
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Commitment to person-centered care, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Experience in long-term care or community healthcare considered an asset
- New graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply
- A clean vulnerable sector and criminal record check
