Roseway Manor is a 66-bed long-term care home located in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, on a quiet residential street. We are proud to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a close-knit community environment where Residents feel at home.

Roseway Manor is currently seeking a youth between the ages of 15 & 30 to fulfill the role of maintenance worker for 8 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance staff with the daily preventative maintenance program
• Maintain records and complete inspection reports
• Assist with fire drills, safety practices of the facility
• Assist with preventative maintenance for the equipment of the building and grounds keeping
• Lawn care, painting and other building maintenance

Qualifications:

• This role is part of the Canada Summer Job Program. To be considered you must be between the age of 15 & 30
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent residents, or person conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Act for the duration of the employment
• Must have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
