MacLeod Shiretown Nursing Home is a 53-bed MacLeod Cares nursing home in Pictou, Nova Scotia.

As a maintenance worker, you will be responsible for care and maintenance of the building and grounds. You will conduct minor repairs and ensure that the building is safe and secure for residents.

Are you:

• Handy and able to perform small repairs
• WHMIS certified
• Able to follow oral and written instructions
• A person with three years’ experience in maintenance and one year of building operation and maintenance experience
• Excellence driven with a sincere desire to work with the elderly
• A person with a valid driver’s license
• Able to obtain a clean vulnerable sector check / criminal record check
