Calling all professional care workers or those wishing to pursue a career in the industry, MacLeod Cares is currently looking to fill more than 30 roles across our organization. With 12 long-term care and retirement living locations in Eastern Canada, there are a variety of opportunities available in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick. and Prince Edward Island.

“It’s an exciting time to be at MacLeod Cares! We’re in the process of building a brand new 96 bed nursing home in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia and will also be replacing our nursing home in Glace Bay in the next few years,” says Doug Stephens, General Manager Operations for MacLeod Cares.

Stephens and his team will start actively recruiting staff for the many Mahone Bay positions that will be available starting in early 2022 but in the meantime, are focused on filling over 30 different positions currently available within the company including Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurses, Continuing Care Assistants, Long-Term Care Assistants, Dietary Aide and more.
